Fingerprinting

This week we are learning about fingerprinting! We have learnt that there are different types of fingerprints like the loop, whorl, tented arch and arch.

The loop is the most common fingerprint. When forensic scientists try to uncover fingerprints they dust the area, the dust sticks to the fingerprint and shows what is left behind.

We learnt that some people used to use skin grafts to hide their fingerprints! We will post more of our learning as we uncover new facts... Watch this space!

No two fingerprints are the same! We are all unique!!
