Memories

“Look out there..” I mumbled with a mouthful of ice cream. We study a super yacht in the distance with boats like a school of fish surrounding it. People cover the foot path like buildings covering the city scape. Cars slowly drive past to glance at the boat.

As we continue our drive along the bays we pass the war tunnels. My dad tells me stories about the tunnels and his childhood in Seatoun. “Seatoun was my favourite place to live...” he remembers. I’m not really keen to go there because it might collapse on me. Dad brags about his life and I wish that I was him, what cool memories he has I think.

Anne Hare Training

Some of us keen runners are competing in the Anne Hare Challenge on Monday afternoon! We practiced some sprints and baton changes down at shore land park on Tuesday! Tomorrow we'll head to Wakefield Park for some more training on flatter ground!

Joseph's Diving Moment

Diving at Stingray Bay

Splash! As we dive in all of the fish shoot past us. We swim towards the current to reach a rocky reef. I tried to swim through a cave to see if a crayfish was there but I was too scared. We crawl on the reef to find a good spot to dive. As we swim fast towards the sharp rocks, the sea glides me to shore.

I wait for my uncle and dad while I’m trying to catch mullet  in a big, open rock pool. I use my red net as the mullet shoot past.
“When are they coming back?” I wonder to myself.

“Yes!” I say. I see fins, snorkels, two orange floats and spears pop up.
“What did you guys catch?” I exclaim.
